How IMAGE Herbicide Works
IMAGE Herbicides work hard to kill weeds. Image Nutsedge Killer, Image Crabgrass Killer, and Image for St. Augustinegrass work the same way. The liquid is absorbed by the foliage, while it is also absorbed directly through the root system of weeds. Image Kudzu Killer works differently. It is absorbed only through the foliage to kill above and below ground. With both methods, via the root system or through foliage absorption, IMAGE Herbicides work to inhibit the production of certain enzymes necessary for photosynthesis (a plant’s life-sustaining process). Without photosynthesis, weeds can not grow and literally starve to death.

Growth inhibition will take place within
a few hours of application, while yellowing occurs 1 to 2 weeks later.
Optimum results will be seen in 3 to 4 weeks, without ugly brownout.

 |
A second application may be required
for season-long control. This can be done 6 weeks after the initial
treatment.
