When applied properly, IMAGE Kills Nutsedge is easy to use. However, it's always important to keep a few things in mind when working with IMAGE Kills Nutsedge:
IMAGE Kills Nutsedge Dos
- DO read the complete label and follow all directions carefully.
- DO use on established Bermuda, Centipede, St. Augustinegrass (except for winter control) and Zoysia turfgrasses.
- DO use IMAGE Kills Nutsedge to control weeds like Purple and Yellow Nutsedge, Wild Onion and Garlic, Dollarweed, Field Sandbur and others (see label for complete list).
- DO apply to emerged Wild Onion and Garlic.
- DO mow Wild Onion and Garlic 1 to 2 weeks after treatment to improve control and lawn appearance.
- DO expect to see gradual control of treated weeds. Weeds will slowly disappear 3 to 4 weeks after spraying.
- DO expect to see temporary discoloration or slowed growth of weeds, which is an indication that IMAGE Herbicide is working to control weeds.
- DO enjoy the control of tough southern weeds without ugly brown out
- Do water in 1 to 7 days after application.
IMAGE Kills Nutsedge Don'ts
- DON'T apply around shrubs or perennials not specifically listed on the label as tolerant ornamentals.
- DON'T apply around annual bedding plants or in vegetable gardens.
- DON'T apply to newly planted or sodded lawns.
- DON'T reseed or winter overseed turfgrasses for 1½ months after treatment.
- DON'T use on St. Augustinegrass for winter control.
- DON'T overlap when spraying.
- DON'T mow within 48 hours after application.
