How IMAGE Herbicides Work
IMAGE Herbicides work hard to kill weeds. Image Nutsedge Killer, Image Crabgrass Killer, and Image for St. Augustinegrass work when the liquid is absorbed by the foliage and directly through the root system of weeds. With rapid uptake via the root system or through foliage absorption, IMAGE Herbicide works to inhibit the production of certain enzymes necessary for photosynthesis (a plant's life-sustaining process). Without photosynthesis, weeds can not grow and literally starve to death.
When will you see visible results?
Using Image Nutsedge Killer:
- Growth inhibition will take place within a few hours of application, while yellowing occurs 1 to 2 weeks later. Optimum results will be seen in 3 to 4 weeks, without ugly brownout.
- A second application may be required for season-long control. This can be done 6 weeks after the initial treatment.
