12 Tips to Control Weeds in St. Augustinegrass & Centipedegrass lawns

Here Are 12 Tips to Ensure Successful Weed Control with IMAGE for St. Augustinegrass & Centipedegrass:

  1. Apply IMAGE on established St. Augustinegrass and Centipedegrass lawns only.

  2. Apply this product during dormant and growing seasons. For best results, apply in early Spring when weeds are small or during dormant periods when weeds have not emerged.

  3. Do not apply more than 2 treatments per year.

  4. Application should be made ONLY with a conventional compressed air garden sprayer equipped with a flat fan spray tip.

  5. Do NOT apply in temperatures above 90°F. Summer applications should be limited to spot treatment only.

  6. This product will control both emerged weeds and seedlings for pre-emergent and post-emergent control.

  7. Do NOT overlap spray paths.

  8. Do not use near adjacent desirable plants or in a greenhouse, or over rooting area of trees, ornamentals, vegetables or other desirable plants.

  9. Control of Spurweed can best be obtained by applying when Spurweed has newly emerged (December and January).

  10. Control of Florida Betony can best be obtained by applying in Fall when this weed emerges. Apply in mid to late October followed by a second application in mid to late February.

  11. Control of Dichondra or Moneywort can best be obtained by applying in early April followed by a second application in July.
