Image Tough Weed Control

Everything You Wanted to Know About Image® crabgrass Killer…Well, Almost Everything

I bought clean topsoil, so where did the crabgrass come from?
From a weed perspective, there is no such thing as "clean" topsoil. Whenever you bring in topsoil, be prepared to contend with new forms of weeds.
How soon after planting new grass can I apply IMAGE Kills CrabgrassII?
On new lawns, do not treat until after two mowings.
What methods can I use to apply IMAGE Kills CrabgrassII?
A tank sprayer is best. Fill a clean one gallon tank sprayer with ½ gallon of water. Add the contents of one packet with agitation. Finish filling the gallon sprayer with ½ gallon of water and continuous agitation. One packet diluted in one gallon of water treats 500 sq. ft. If product is left standing for extended period of time before spraying or left to stand after application be sure to shake well again before spraying.
What are the weeds that IMAGE Kills CrabgrassII controls?
Barnyardgrass, Black Medic, Carolina geranium, Chickweed (common and mousear), Clover, crabgrass (large and smooth), Curlydock, Deergrass, Dallisgrass, Dandelion, Dollar Weed, Foxtail, Goldenrod, Goosegrass, Ground Ivy, Henbit, Kochia, Kyllinga (green and false green), London Rocket, Morningglory, Nutsedge (purple and yellow), Parsley piert, Pigweed (redroot and tumble), Plantain (broadleaf and buckhorn), Purslane (common), Pusley, Sedges (globe, cylindric, Surinam and Texas), Signalgrass (broadleaf), Smartweed (Pennsylvannia), Speedwell, Spurge (annuals, prostrate and spotted), Star of Bethlehem, Violet (wild), Wild garlic, Wild Onion, and Woodsorrel (creeping and yellow).
What are the turfgrasses that can be treated with IMAGE Kills CrabgrassII?
Cool Season Lawns: Creeping Bentgrass, Kentucky and Rough Bluegrass, Fine and Tall Fescue and Perennial Ryegrass.
Warm Season Lawns: Bermudagrass, Buffalograss, Centipedegrass, Seashore Paspalum and Zoysiagrass. Do not use on St. Augustinegrass.
When should I apply IMAGE Kills CrabgrassII for best results?
Best results are obtained on young, actively growing weeds at air temperatures above 70°F. You can treat crabgrass and other grassy weeds all summer long once they emerge from the ground.
