Amdro Ant Killing Bait Stakes

Size:

Take charge of house ants in and around your home with Amdro Ant Killing Bait Stakes. These easy-to-use, dual-action stakes work outdoors or inside to lure multiple common ant* species. With one simple product, you can attract and kill sweet-eating and grease-eating ants* — and destroy entire house ant* colonies. Scout ants think the bait is food, carry it home, and share it with their queen and colony. Some ants die within hours, but larger colonies take longer. Regardless, once the queen dies, the colony is doomed.

FAQ

Do I need to do anything to activate the bait stations?
No, the bait stakes are already configured for immediate use. No need to activate the bait such as piercing the gel or plastic for it to work. Simply remove the product from the box and place near ant trails and in areas where ants are seen.

Can I place the stakes in my yard with a dog?
We do not recommend placing the ant bait stakes anywhere near pets or children who can easily access them.

How long does it take for the product to work?
Amdro Ant Killing Bait Stakes start to work immediately, however it also depends on the size of the colony. Smaller colonies can die in hours whereas larger colonies may take up to a week or a little longer to die. Ants need to take the bait back to the colony to share with other worker ants and the queen. Once the queen eats it, she is no longer able to reproduce which causes the whole mound to cease and die.

Can I use this product in a potted plant?
Yes, this product can be used in potted plants.

Can I use this product in vegetable gardens?
Amdro Ant Killing Bait Stakes can be placed around the perimeter of the vegetable garden but not directly in the vegetable garden. The bait stakes can be used in ornamental gardens and flower beds.
